Our client is a leading company in the Mobility/Accessibility industry and is seeking to employ an Accountant - German Speaking. The role involves supporting the Group Financial Controller to produce accurate, timely and meaningful financial information to support the business in driving forward.
Duties:
- Assist in producing monthly management accounts and forecasts for Group legal entities
- Support reconciliation of stock, COS, GRNI and WIP at month, quarter and year end
- Support in producing P&L accounts for Group legal entities
- Investigate any variances, providing commentary to support and resolution as appropriate
- Produce reports and analyses to support business reviews and decision making, in a timely manner
- Support reconciliation of divisional balance sheets, identifying and investigating any issues to resolution
- Produce KPI reports and analysis of these measures to drive continuous business improvement
Personal Specification:
- Qualified or studying towards an accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
- Business standard German fluency
- Two years practical experience in a finance role in a manufacturing/engineering business
- Advanced Excel capability
- Experience in using ERP systems
