An Insolvency specialist is sought by a long established heavyweight that has grown substantially over recent years to almost 400 staff. Several high profile hires, fantastic modern offices and a culture and ethos that operated home working three days a week even before the pandemic has seen this firm recognised as one of this region’s leading names. They now wish to add to their already hugely successful insolvency team, that is both Legal 500 and Chambers recommended.

This is a unique opportunity for a 1 year+ PQE Insolvency Lawyer who can assist with the growth of the insolvency work (which currently is predominantly contentious focused) and, in particular, develop the non-contentious insolvency offering, helping to shape and drive forward the insolvency practice.

The Insolvency Team acts for insolvency practitioners as well as companies and individuals (directors/partners/sole traders/creditors/debtors/bankrupts and their spouses) mainly in the East of England region but also further afield, in relation to a wide-range of corporate and personal insolvency-related issues.

About You:

  • You will have proven experience in handling a caseload of insolvency work, including non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters.
  • Advising and assisting relevant stakeholders with all aspects of insolvency work, including non-contentious insolvency instructions.
  • Dealing with the restructuring and sale of businesses as well as being competent in drafting the necessary transactional paperwork.

It would be advantageous if you hold the JIEB qualification (although not essential).

Applications are welcome from prospective candidates who are committed to delivering exceptional client service, developing and maintaining professional relationships.

Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
