My client who are a leading practice with offices throughout Sussex, due to succession planning are now seeking a Corporate and Commercial Solicitor to join one of their offices near the Sussex/Surrey border.

It is envisaged that you will have at least 5 years post qualification experience gained within a busy corporate and commercial team, although we are also keen to speak to more senior Solicitors. This is an exciting opportunity to join a regional highly regarded heavyweight practice and assist in further developing their already strong reputation in the corporate and commercial field.

Responsibilities

The corporate and commercial team act for a broad range of companies, businesses, partnerships, and other organisations in various industry sectors alongside individual cases. Clients include pharmaceutical manufacturers, property firms, motor dealerships and software businesses.

The caseload of work includes but is not limited to:

  • business sales and purchases
  • company restructuring
  • mergers and acquisitions
  • management “buy ins” and “buy outs”
  • shareholders’ and directors’ agreements
  • joint ventures
  • partnership agreements
  • NDAs
  • supply contracts
  • business terms and conditions
