Our client are Legal 500 and Chambers recommended as one of East Anglia's leading law firms.

The firm offers a broad range of legal advice to individuals and companies in respect of a large range of legal services both nationally and internationally and are consistently ranked highly for providing excellent client service.

They now wish to recruit a newly or recently qualified Construction Lawyer. Ideally, candidates should have had exposure to a broad range of contentious and non-contentious construction during their training and/or within their current role.

The firm's construction team advise on all aspects of construction, acting for a wide range of clients, including contractors, sub-contractors, developers, funders, and individuals. They provide high-quality, commercial advice on all aspects of development, from the inception of a project through to its completion.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Running own matters as well as assisting more senior associates and partners with their cases.
  • Delivering high quality, commercial advice to developers, main contractors, sub-contractors and construction professionals.
  • Whilst experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction would be preferred, experience in contentious construction matters including experience of acting in adjudications and TCC work is required.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills.
  • A strong academic record, with a minimum requirement of a 2:1 degree classification.
