We are supporting a well-regarded law firm in their search for a dedicated Paralegal to join their Private Client team, with a focus on Court of Protection work.
Our client are a modern and extremely progressive top tier, Legal 500 law firm that is supportive and takes great pride in developing the lawyers that join them.
They havegrown substantially over the last 10 years to a turnover of £11m and over 65 fee earners and arenow a Top 200 UK Law firm with a strong business plan of further future growth and development, aiming for another 30% growth in the next five years.
State of the art systems, first class management and a client base of quality rather than quantity are on offer to a Paralegal wishing to be part of this exciting law firm.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support clients who are vulnerable or lack capacity, often with complex financial or care needs. The role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to work as part of a specialist and supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with applications to the Court of Protection
- Supporting the day-to-day management of client affairs
- Drafting legal documents including Statutory Wills and Trust
- Communicating with clients, families, and professionals
- Maintaining accurate files and supporting fee earners
Requirements
- Previous experience in Private Client or Court of Protection work
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication
- A calm and professional manner when dealing with sensitive matters
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines
