Our client wish to recruit a newly/recently qualified UK Solicitor to join our clients highly regarded Commercial and Corporate Finance Business team. The position is based in Essex and, subject to work commitments, there will be the opportunity for some working from home, if desired, in line with the Firm’s working from home guidelines.
You will be part of our multidisciplinary Business Team and demonstrate an aptitude for corporate and commercial work. The role will be focused on the following:
- Share sale and purchases;
- Asset sale and purchases;
- Management Buy Outs;
- Employee Ownership Trusts;
- Demergers;
- Share re-organisations;
- Shareholder agreements;
- Share buy backs;
- Employee share schemes;
- Joint Ventures;
- Partnerships;
- LLPs;
- Corporate Governance;
- Directors Duties.
The successful candidate will have proven capability in assisting on general corporate matters, whilst all the while delivering excellent customer service.
You will have the ability to deliver succinct high-quality advice, excellent client and team communication skills, drafting and negotiation skills and a desire to play a key role in the future development of the firm and the team.
You will need to use your own initiative and provide good succinct commercial advice to clients. You will be computer literate, able to use a case management system and be able to type.
The role will involve marketing and business development and therefore the ideal candidate must be flexible enough to work outside normal office hours and be comfortable attending a range of marketing events and progressing a variety of business development initiatives.
