An award-winning national law firm is looking to recruit an ambitious Insolvency Solicitor to join its highly regarded Insolvency and Corporate Recovery team in Manchester. The team has a strong reputation for handling complex and high-value insolvency matters across the UK and internationally, acting for insolvency practitioners, lenders, creditors, businesses, directors and public sector bodies. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading practice that is recognised for its technical expertise, commercial approach and high-profile client base.

You will advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters, working alongside experienced specialists on complex cases. The role offers exposure to a varied caseload, including:

  • Trading administrations
  • Court administration applications
  • Administration appointments and sales out of administration
  • Corporate and personal insolvency matters
  • Fraud and asset recovery claims
  • Wrongful and fraudulent trading claims
  • Misfeasance and breach of duty claims
  • Overdrawn directors' loan account disputes
  • Liquidations and receiverships
  • Members' Voluntary Liquidations
  • Advising lenders and creditors
  • Insolvency applications
  • Business restructuring and refinancing matters
  • Recovery of assets and property
  • Professional negligence claims

The team is also known for its strong litigation capability, handling disputes at all levels of the court system and working on some of the most significant insolvency cases in the market.

Applications are welcomed from solicitors with:
