My client is looking for a planning lawyer to take on a unique hybrid role that combines premium development work with a focus on business development and innovation. The successful candidate will help streamline internal processes and ensure the firm keeps pace with the evolving world of legal tech.
This role involves close collaboration with the firm's innovation committee. Responsibilities will include evaluating and testing new products, rolling them out across the practice, and delivering training to colleagues.
The hiring firm is open on the level of experience. What matters most is a genuine interest in innovation and a solid understanding of how advancements in AI can benefit the planning sector. Candidates may currently be working at another law firm, in-house, or within a local authority.
A rare vacancy has arisen in this friendly practice for a planning solicitor to focus on development planning. The incoming solicitor is likely to be around 1-4 years qualified and will be joining a specialist team of Planning Lawyers who advise some of the UK's leading developers on complex housing and regeneration projects. You will be advising on complex S106/278 agreements, CPO as well as public inquiries and judicial reviews.
This is a superb opportunity for a junior planning lawyer who is keen to push themselves on exciting projects while being supervised by experts with many years of service. The hiring practice has Real Estate running through its DNA, which means that planning will always remain a core function, and also means that partnership prospects are also realistic. This, combined with a genuine work-life balance, makes it a happy firm to work at.
