A strong opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Contracts Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join a well-established and nationally regarded commercial team. This role sits at Principal Associate level and offers access to a broad and high-quality workload across multiple sectors, alongside clear progression prospects within a collaborative and growing team.
You will be joining a busy, multi-office commercial practice advising a diverse client base across both the private and public sectors. The position will involve managing your own caseload, supporting senior lawyers on larger strategic matters, and playing a key role in delivering commercial, pragmatic advice to clients. This is a varied role, offering exposure to a wide range of commercial, technology, data protection and intellectual property work, making it particularly attractive for lawyers seeking breadth and long-term career development.
Key Responsibilities- Managing your own portfolio of commercial matters while supporting partners and senior colleagues on complex transactions
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts
- Advising clients on day-to-day operational contracts through to large-scale, strategic projects
- Delivering commercially focused and practical solutions tailored to client needs
- Supervising and supporting junior team members, contributing to their development
- Working closely with colleagues across different offices and practice areas on multi-disciplinary projects
- Supporting business development initiatives, including pitches, proposals, and thought leadership
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a view to becoming a trusted adviser
