Ready to lead and build a growing Employment practice?

A highly regarded regional law firm in the South Midlands is looking for an ambitious senior Employment lawyer to take the lead on the next stage of growth of its Employment team.

This is a genuine leadership opportunity.

You'll inherit a strong flow of quality work, lead a small but growing team, and have the opportunity to shape the future direction of the practice.

Whether you're a Senior Associate looking for a clear route to progression or an existing Partner seeking the right platform, this role offers the scope to make a real impact.

A client following is not essential — the work is already there.

Of course, bringing additional clients would be welcomed, but the key requirement is exceptional technical ability, commercial judgement and the drive to grow a successful practice.

The role offers a varied mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work, including Employment Tribunal matters.

Advocacy experience would be a bonus, but it is not a requirement.

The firm advises a diverse client base, from family‑owned businesses and SMEs to well‑known larger organisations, delivering high‑quality work within a supportive and collaborative environment.

With a genuine commitment to work/life balance and the ambition to continue investing in Employment, this is an opportunity to build something meaningful while developing your own career.
