I am working with a long established regional law firm as they look to strengthen their Court of Protection team with a Senior Associate or Partner level lawyer based in Suffolk. With more than 200 staff and an expanding presence across the region, the firm is known for its thoughtful approach to client care, its consistent growth, and a culture where senior lawyers are trusted to lead, influence and shape the direction of their work.
This position offers the opportunity to handle complex and sensitive Court of Protection matters while taking a visible and influential role within a well structured and well supported team. Leadership is collaborative, accessible and committed to helping senior lawyers progress.
RoleYou will join a stable and established Court of Protection practice with a steady stream of instructions that span:
- property and financial affairs
- health and welfare matters
- deputyship work
- capacity issues
- safeguarding concerns
- cross agency and multi disciplinary involvement
There is no requirement to build a caseload from scratch. You will take ownership of a varied and meaningful portfolio of work from the outset, supported by colleagues who prioritise quality, balance and thoughtful case management.

- contested capacity issues
- serious medical and welfare decisions
