Opportunity to join a leading team doing cutting edge work in one of the world\’s premier funds markets. This large offshore law firm has a reach that spans multiple jurisdictions worldwide. Its Jersey office ranks among the market leaders across its core practice areas, including investment funds where it fields an impressive team that advises on much of the biggest and best work in the jurisdiction. As part of its ongoing growth plans, it is keen to speak with junior/mid-level lawyers with experience in investment funds work (or corporate experience and an interest in the funds sector). The firm encourages lawyers at all levels to take on responsibility and to be client facing making it a strong move for someone who is ambitious and looking to fast-track their development. In the longer term, opportunities for progression through the ranks are good, whether in the Channel Islands or further afield, and experience gained here will be highly marketable in the City if you decide to return onshore. Requirements Admitted in the UK, Ireland or an equivalent Commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada or South Africa). Likely to suit someone from NQ-3 years’ PQE. (All suitable applicants considered). Relevant funds experience gained with a respected commercial law firm in the UK or equivalent overseas, or strong general corporate experience and a genuine interest in specialising in this highly sought after practice.
