Family Solicitor

A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm is looking to appoint a Family Solicitor to join its successful and growing Family Law team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to work with a quality private client base while developing their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The role offers a varied caseload, strong administrative support and genuine opportunities for progression.
The Opportunity
You'll join an established Family Law team with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality advice to individuals and families across a broad range of matters.
The successful candidate will inherit an existing caseload and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the department.
This position would suit a solicitor who enjoys building long-term client relationships, providing sensitive and practical advice, and managing matters with a high degree of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on divorce and separation matters.
- Managing financial remedy and matrimonial finance cases.
- Handling private children matters and child arrangement disputes.
- Preparing court documentation and legal pleadings.
- Conducting advocacy at hearings where appropriate.
- Instructing and liaising with counsel and other professional advisers.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Contributing to business development and networking initiatives.
- Supporting the continued growth and profile of the Family team.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE in Family Law.
- Have experience managing privately funded family matters.
- Possess strong technical knowledge across a range of family law issues.
- Be confident handling a caseload with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills.
