Based in East London (on the district line), they have grown substantially over the last 10 years to a turnover of £11m and over 65 fee earners and are now a Top 200 UK Law firm with a strong business plan of a further 30% growth and development in the next five years. State of the art systems, first class management and a client base of quality rather than quantity are on offer to solicitors or legal executives wishing to be part of this exciting law firm.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Enfranchisement and Property Litigation Lawyer to join the firm’s specialist team. The successful candidate will work on a broad mix of high-quality work, including residential and commercial landlord and tenant disputes, leasehold enfranchisement, right to manage claims, boundary disputes, and other contentious property matters. You will be advising a diverse client base, including landlords, tenants, developers, managing agents, and leaseholders, and will have the opportunity to run your own caseload with appropriate support and supervision.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Solid experience in leasehold enfranchisement and contentious property matters
  • Strong knowledge of the relevant legislation (Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993, Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002, etc.)
  • Confident in handling files autonomously with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, advocacy, and negotiation skills
  • A client-focused, proactive, and commercially aware approach
