The Role

Reporting to a senior lawyer, you will act as a trusted advisor to individuals, families and trustees. This role suits an NQ with prior Private Client experience or a lawyer with 1+ PQE. You will deliver clear, compassionate and practical advice while maintaining the highest professional and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing your own caseload from initial instruction through to completion
  • Meeting clients to discuss their matters and maintaining excellent service standards
  • Drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and other associated documentation
  • Handling probate matters and estate administration
  • Assisting with the creation and ongoing management of trusts
  • Supporting senior team members where required
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Contributing to marketing, networking and business development activities

Skills & Experience

  • Experience drafting Wills, LPAs, and dealing with probate and estate administration
  • Strong attention to detail and high‑quality drafting skills
  • Excellent client care skills with a compassionate, clear and professional manner
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and handle competing priorities
  • Strong written communication and solid IT skills
  • A proactive, commercial and team‑orientated approach
