A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Disputes Lawyer, Solicitor or Legal Executive (2+ Years PQE) to join a long-established, modern, and forward-thinking law firm in Norwich. Representing individuals and SMEs, you will provide commercially focused legal advice. A proactive approach and sense of urgency are key.

The Role

  • Manage a diverse caseload across property, commercial, contentious probate, and employment disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Property & Landlord‑Tenant Disputes
    • Advise on residential lease extensions and First‑tier Tribunal representation
    • Handle commercial lease renewals and forfeiture
    • Manage unpaid rent recovery
    • Assist with residential possession claims and service charge disputes
    • Advise on dilapidation claims and fitness for human habitation
    • Draft tenancy agreements and advise landlords
  • Contentious Probate & Trusts
    • Challenge wills and handle inheritance claims
    • Make applications to remove executors
  • Commercial Disputes
    • Handle breach of contract and misrepresentation cases
    • Advise on shareholder and partnership disputes
    • Manage debt recovery and enforcement of judgments
    • Assist with winding‑up proceedings in the High Court
  • Freehold Land Disputes
    • Resolve boundary disputes (including agricultural land)
    • Handle adverse possession and nuisance claims
    • Advise on restrictive covenants and proprietary estoppel
    • Assist with property sale disputes
    • Advise on TOLATA claims and property sales
  • Employment Law
    • Provide advice on employment status, disciplinary issues, redundancies, and TUPE
    • Represent clients in harassment and discrimination claims
    • Draft employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
