Our client is a highly respected Legal 500 firm, recognised as a Top 200 UK law firm. Over the last 10 years, they’ve grown significantly — now with over 50 fee earners and a turnover of £9 million — and they have clear plans to double in size over the next five years.

As part of this growth, they are now looking for a Court of Protection Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their established Private Client team.

About the Role

You will work on complex, high-value estates and support clients under the Court of Protection. You’ll work directly with the Deputy, the Court of Protection, the Office of the Public Guardian, and the individual and their family, building long-term relationships and helping to ensure decisions are made in each person’s best interests.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage your own files and assist the Deputy with a range of Court of Protection matters
  • Prepare general Court applications
  • Prepare Statutory Will applications
  • Represent the Deputy at Court of Protection hearings
  • Investigate concerns or potential risks of Financial Abuse
  • Assist with the administration of estates

What you’ll need

You’ll be an experienced Court of Protection Lawyer with at least 1 year PQE. A background in managing sensitive, complex matters is important, along with a clear and professional communication style.
