An Insolvency specialist is sought by a long-established heavyweight that has grown substantially over recent years to almost 300 staff. Several high-profile hires, fantastic modern offices, and a culture and ethos that operated home working three days a week even before the pandemic have seen this firm recognised as one of this region's leading names.

They now wish to add to their already hugely successful insolvency team, which is both Legal 500 and Chambers recommended. This is a unique opportunity for a 3+ PQE Insolvency Lawyer who can assist with the growth of the insolvency work (currently predominantly contentious) and develop the non-contentious insolvency offering, helping to shape and drive forward the practice.

The Insolvency Team acts for insolvency practitioners, companies, and individuals (directors, partners, sole traders, creditors, debtors, bankrupts, and their spouses), mainly in the East of England region but also further afield, on a wide range of corporate and personal insolvency issues.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in handling a caseload of insolvency work, including non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters. Holding the JIEB qualification is advantageous but not essential.

We welcome applications from candidates committed to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining professional relationships. You will have experience advising and assisting stakeholders with all aspects of insolvency work, including non-contentious instructions, restructuring, and sale of businesses, as well as drafting transactional paperwork.
