A well-respected Legal 500 law firm in Essex is seeking to strengthen its Corporate practice with the appointment of an ambitious and commercially minded Corporate Solicitor (2+ PQE). You will be joining a firm recognised for its growth, modern outlook and strong reputation across multiple practice areas, working within a supportive team that values collaboration, respect and professional development.
The Role
As a Corporate Solicitor, you will act for a broad and varied client base including global brands, FTSE 100 companies, privately owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and investors. The team provides strategic and practical advice on a wide range of corporate transactions and projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and corporate restructures
- Drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements, joint ventures and corporate governance documentation
- Advising on employee ownership trusts, equity capital markets and venture/development capital projects
- Managing transactions from instruction through to completion with appropriate supervision
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering advice that is clear, commercial and timely

- 2+ years' PQE
- Excellent technical knowledge of company and commercial law
