Responsibilities

  • Conditional and unconditional acquisitions and disposals
  • Portfolio acquisitions, disposals and management
  • Secured lending transactions for lenders and borrowers
  • Acting for landlords and tenants in lease negotiations, surrenders, agreements for lease and management matters
  • Supporting corporate transactions, including share and asset sales and purchases
  • Contributing to business development and practice marketing initiatives

The Candidate

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ PQE, having gained experience in a well-regarded law firm
  • Possess a strong understanding of commercial property law, with the ability to offer practical, commercial, and strategic advice tailored to the needs of clients, including high net worth individuals and corporate clients
  • Manage client relationships effectively and mentor junior team members
  • Business development will be a key aspect of this role, with the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the firm’s growth
  • The firm offers a clear and structured career progression path, with the potential to progress into a Senior Associate or Legal Director role through its Talent Management Framework

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ PQE in commercial property law
  • Experience in commercial landlord and tenant matters
  • Experience acting for both banks and borrowers in secured lending transactions
  • Familiarity with property aspects of corporate transactions
  • Strong academic background
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality work is produced
