Responsibilities
- Conditional and unconditional acquisitions and disposals
- Portfolio acquisitions, disposals and management
- Secured lending transactions for lenders and borrowers
- Acting for landlords and tenants in lease negotiations, surrenders, agreements for lease and management matters
- Supporting corporate transactions, including share and asset sales and purchases
- Contributing to business development and practice marketing initiatives
The Candidate
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ PQE, having gained experience in a well-regarded law firm
- Possess a strong understanding of commercial property law, with the ability to offer practical, commercial, and strategic advice tailored to the needs of clients, including high net worth individuals and corporate clients
- Manage client relationships effectively and mentor junior team members
- Business development will be a key aspect of this role, with the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the firm’s growth
- The firm offers a clear and structured career progression path, with the potential to progress into a Senior Associate or Legal Director role through its Talent Management Framework
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ PQE in commercial property law
- Experience in commercial landlord and tenant matters
- Experience acting for both banks and borrowers in secured lending transactions
