One of the leading law firms for Employment Law in the UK is looking to hire a mid-level to senior lawyer to work as part of their global mobility team. The incoming solicitor will be an employment lawyer with significant experience, who ideally will have a track record of advising clients with a global reach. They will be attuned to the factors around global mobility and will be able to advise on the key legal issues that are arising in an evolving market. The hiring practice is a highly regarded place to work with a strong focus on well-being as well as being one of the key practices for Employment Law.
It is envisaged that this role will be based out of one of their regional hubs in either Manchester, Cardiff, Leeds or Oxford.
The Role: This is a broad advisory and contentious employment law position, working closely with a market-recognised partner who leads the Oxford-based team. You’ll be advising both employers and senior employees on matters including:
- Disciplinary and grievance issues
- Discrimination and whistleblowing
- TUPE and restructuring
- Employment Tribunal claims
- Senior exits and executive advisory work
You’ll be joining a national team of over 40 employment specialists and contributing to a genuinely collaborative, people-focused culture. There’s also strong support for business development and progression, and you’ll be trusted with a high level of client contact from day one.
