The Opportunity: We are seeking a talented and commercially astute Corporate Solicitor to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity, joint ventures, and corporate reorganisations, for a diverse client base ranging from SMEs to large corporates, in both domestic and international markets. As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service and contributing to the continued growth of our corporate practice in the South East.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a broad diet of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, and corporate restructurings.
- Draft and negotiate key transaction documents, such as share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, and investment agreements.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on corporate governance, company law, and regulatory compliance matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver integrated legal solutions to clients.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the corporate practice.
About You:
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2β6 years PQE in corporate law.
- Proven experience in handling complex corporate transactions and advising clients on company law matters.
- Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
