Are you an ambitious Property Litigation Solicitor looking to take the next step in your career within a Legal 500 firm? Our client, a highly respected practice in Essex, is seeking a talented lawyer to join their thriving property disputes team.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic chance to become part of a nationally recognised practice known for its expertise in landlord and tenant matters, as well as wider property litigation. Working alongside an experienced team, you will manage your own caseload while gaining exposure to complex disputes and contributing to the department’s continued growth.
The Role
You will act on a wide range of contentious property matters, including:
- Landlord and tenant disputes (both residential and commercial)
- Service charge and rent recovery claims
- Dilapidations, breach of covenant and possession proceedings
- Drafting tenancy and lease documentation
- Advising on property management issues and providing training to clients
- Supporting senior lawyers with more complex, high-value disputes
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a Solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE
- Have strong knowledge of landlord and tenant law and the CPR
- Be confident handling a varied caseload independently
- Demonstrate strong drafting, negotiation and client care skills
- Show enthusiasm for building relationships and contributing to business development
- Be collaborative and proactive, with a genuine interest in developing expertise in property litigation
