Our client is a Legal 500 and Chambers recommended law firm, recognised as one of East Anglia's leading firms. The firm offers a broad range of legal advice to individuals and companies in respect of various legal services both nationally and internationally, consistently ranked highly for providing excellent client service.
They now wish to recruit a newly or recently qualified Construction Lawyer. Ideally, candidates should have had exposure to a broad range of contentious and non-contentious construction during their training and/or within their current role. The firm's construction team advises on all aspects of construction, acting for a wide range of clients, including contractors, sub-contractors, developers, funders, and individuals. They provide high-quality, commercial advice on all aspects of development, from the inception of a project through to its completion.
The successful candidate will be:
- Running own matters as well as assisting more senior associates and partners with their cases.
- Delivering high quality, commercial advice to developers, main contractors, sub-contractors, and construction professionals.
While experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction would be preferred, experience in contentious construction matters, including acting in adjudications and TCC work, is required. Excellent client relationship management skills are essential, along with a strong academic record, with a minimum requirement of a 2:1 degree classification.
