This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercial property solicitor (2+ PQE) with an interest in energy and infrastructure to join a specialist group working on some of the biggest energy and development projects in the country.
The role
This is a real estate role with a clear energy and infrastructure focus. You’ll act for national and international energy clients on a mix of:
- Development projects (solar, wind, battery, hydrogen, grid)
- Site acquisitions, land options, and infrastructure agreements
- Lease negotiations and office relocations
- Portfolio management, landlord & tenant work, and asset management
- Supporting major energy infrastructure and renewables projects, including new power stations, pipeline schemes and battery storage developments
You’ll be part of a large national real estate practice, with over 150 lawyers across the UK, working alongside market-leading individuals listed in Legal 500 and Chambers. This is a chance to do high-value, high-profile work for global clients – from start-ups and utilities to energy giants and government bodies.
What they’re looking for:
- A qualified solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE in commercial property
- Experience with development transactions or energy-related real estate work is ideal (but not essential)
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a commercial mindset
- Genuine enthusiasm for the energy sector and infrastructure work
- Someone proactive, collaborative, and comfortable with client-facing work
Why apply?
- Join a Legal 500–ranked team doing complex, meaningful work across energy and real estate
- Be part of a people-first firm with a strong commitment to flexible working, wellbeing, and inclusion
- Excellent support, resources, and progression routes in a truly national team
- Work on transactions that shape the UK’s energy future
This firm is proud of its inclusive culture and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds. If you want to do big-ticket real estate work with a future-facing energy focus – without losing the balance and support – this is worth a look.
