A US law firm with a highly regarded corporate practice is seeking a talented mid-to-senior-level associate to join its London team.The team advises a broad range of private equity sponsors, multinational corporates, financial institutions and other leading market participants on complex, high-value corporate transactions. The practice is particularly recognised for its work on sophisticated cross-border M&A, strategic acquisitions and disposals, and complex corporate matters involving multiple jurisdictions.This is an excellent opportunity to join a premier US law firm platform, working alongside leading partners on high-profile transactions for an impressive international client base.The RoleYou will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of sophisticated corporate transactions, including:Public and private M&A transactions, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions and disposalsStrategic investments, joint ventures and corporate reorganisationsComplex private M&A transactions involving multinational businesses and international counterpartiesTake-private transactions and public company M&A, where relevant to the practiceCorporate governance matters and general advisory work arising in connection with transactional mandatesNegotiating and drafting key transaction documentation, managing due diligence and coordinating multi-jurisdictional workstreamsThe role offers significant responsibility, direct partner interaction and exposure to high-profile, complex transactions.
