It offers an opportunity to specialise in offshore transactional work for the rapidly developing cryptocurrency/digital assets sector, gaining experience that will place you right at the cutting edge of the market.
Some prior experience in crypto/digital assets is preferred but we are also interested in hearing from corporate/financial services/funds lawyers who have a genuine interest in the sector. It will suit someone who enjoys a diverse range of work since you could be advising on everything from corporate and finance-related matters to the ever-changing regulatory and compliance landscape that clients in this sector must navigate. You may even be called on to offer support in disputes from time to time. It promises to be challenging, exciting, and ultimately highly rewarding.
Requirements
- Overseas qualified lawyers must be admitted in the UK or an equivalent Commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia, New Zealand or Canada).
- Likely to suit someone with 3-6 years’ PQE (3 years’ PQE required for work permit).
- Strong corporate law background with experience of, or a keen interest in, the crypto/digital assets/fintech sector.
