Be the first-ever Field Sales Executive for Origin’s Powder Coating division and take a truly premium product to market. Our Qualicoat-accredited facility delivers exceptional quality and finish through rigorous controls at every stage of the process. As the function grows, this role will help shape how powder coating sales develops within Origin.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identifying, targeting, and winning new customers across fabrication, metalworking, OEMs, and related sectors.
  • Building and managing a strong UK-wide pipeline from first contact through to order.
  • Growing revenue within your account base through proactive engagement and upsell.
  • Visiting customers to understand requirements, advise on specifications, and present tailored powder coating solutions.
  • Preparing accurate quotations and proposals aligned to operational capability.
  • Working closely with production and technical teams to ensure commitments are met and service levels remain high.
  • Keeping CRM records and pipeline forecasts up to date to support planning and growth.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven field sales experience within powder coating, surface finishing, or a closely related industrial coating environment.
  • A strong understanding of how powder coating customers operate — including pricing structures, transport considerations, lead times, and what must be captured within a commercially sound quotation.
  • Confidence discussing finishes, specifications, quality standards, and production capability with fabricators, metalworkers and OEMs.
  • A proactive new-business mindset, balanced with the ability to build long-term account relationships.
  • Highly organised and self-driven, comfortable managing your own diary.
