As a Maintenance Engineer, you\’ll be at the heart of our operations at our state of the art Paint Line Factory in Bicester, ensuring the smooth running of our production equipment. From reactive and preventative maintenance to resolving electrical issues and working on pneumatic and hydraulic systems, this role offers variety and challenges to keep you engaged. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday – rotating shift pattern of 06:00am to 14:30pm and 14:15pm to 22:45pm Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer include but is not limited to: Perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase electrical systems, bearings, drive belts, motors, and more. Work with HMI/PLC controls (training provided!). Collaborate with a close-knit team to maintain high-quality production standards. What We\’re Looking For: A Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias. Electrical qualification preferred but not essential if you have equivalent experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment (any sector is welcome!). A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can work independently. Flexibility to support weekend overtime when required (premium rates or time in lieu available). Why Join Origin?
