Loading Assistant

High Wycombe Full-Time No home office possible

We\’re looking for a Loading Assistant to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their orders complete, safe, and on time.

In this hands-on role, you\’ll be working in Distribution, responsible for carefully loading our delivery vehicles with the next day\’s orders, following clear guidelines to ensure every item is double-checked for quality and packed to prevent damage in transit. Work Pattern: Monday – Friday: 3:00pm – 00:00am

What You\’ll Be Doing as a Warehouse Assistant

Loading delivery vehicles accurately according to the manifest and in the correct order
Ensure all vehicles are loaded in a safe manner and that the product loaded is protected from damage while in Transit
Performing a double-check for quality and completeness of all items
Reporting any missing or damaged items immediately
Report on any missing items found in the warehouse
Strapping and protecting goods with blue foam to prevent damage during transport
Picking & Packaging Trim to fulfil customer orders
Loading crates and containers, and assisting customers with their collections
Working to a timed loading schedule to meet tight deadlines
Communicating effectively with your team and supervisor

Who you are:

A real team player with a hands-on approach

Desirable but Not Essential:

Previous experience working in Distribution
Familiarity with logistics or order management systems
7.5tonne driver qualification
