TheHabitatsOperationsManagerreportstoandsupportstheHeadofHabitatsandisexpectedtotakeadepartment-wideviewofworkload,resourcesandoperationalperformance,helpingtheteamachieveitsannualtargetswhilstmaintainingKeystone’sethos,values,standards,andapproachtoriskandqualitymanagement. Theyplayanactiveroleindepartmentalplanning,resourcecoordination,projectmanagementandclientliaison.TheywillbetaskedwithquotingforworkandworkingwiththeHeadofHabitatsandBidManagertobidformorecomplextenders,undertakingcontractsmanagementasrequireduponaward. Therolecombinesoperationalleadershipwithprojectandcommercialmanagement.TheOperationsManagerwillmaintainoversightofexistingcontracts,supportthemobilisationofnewprojectsandprovidevisibilityofprogramme,resourceandfinancialperformanceacrossthedepartment. OneofthekeyrequirementsoftheroleistoleadandcoordinatetheHabitatsContractsManagersandwiderdeliveryteamtoplanandcoordinatedeliveryofbothexistingandupcomingworks,ensuringthatthenecessaryresources,plant,tools,andmaterialsareprocuredanddeployedinatimelyfashiontodeliverprojectsontimeandwithinbudget. TheOperationsManagerwillalsoplayanimportantroleinsupportinganddevelopingtheHabitatsmanagementteam,maintaininghighstandardsofhealth,safety,qualityandenvironmentalperformance,anddrivingcontinualimprovementinthesystemsandprocessesthroughwhichthedepartmentoperates. Keyresponsibilitiesinclude: LeadandcoordinateoperationaldeliveryacrosstheHabitatsportfolio,ensuringprojectsareappropriatelyplanned,resourcedandsupportedfrommobilisationthroughtocompletion. ManageandsupportContractsManagersandthewideroperationalteam,providingclearpriorities,guidanceandescalationwhererequired. Ensureprojectsaredeliveredsafely,ontime,withinbudget,andtothehighestqualitystandards. Coordinatesiteteams,subcontractors,plant,andresourcestoachievesuccessfulprojectoutcomes. Maintainoversightofcurrentandupcomingworkload,coordinatinglabour,plant,equipment,materialsandsubcontractorstomeetprojectprogrammesandoperationalpriorities. Leadandmanagehabitatrestoration,landscaping,ecologicalmitigationandenhancementprojectsdirectlywhererequired,particularlythosethatarecomplex,high-valueorstrategicallyimportant. Supportthepreparationofquotations,tenders,andproposalstosecurenewworkandmaintainbusinessgrowth. Buildandmaintainstrongclientrelationships,drivingrepeatbusinessandidentifyingnewopportunities. Providetechnicalguidanceandhigh-leveladvicetoclients,projectteams,andstakeholders. Produceandreviewprojectdocumentation,includingreports,methodstatements,riskassessments,constructionphaseplans,programmes,andqualityrecords.
