We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Ornithologist to work on a broad variety of projects. This role will be based at our head office in Guiseley, near Leeds.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with bird surveys
- Assisting with technical reporting
- Working closely with and supporting the wider ecology team
- Adhering to Health and Safety best practises
Essential Requirements:
- Strong Bird identification skills (both visually and acoustically)
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
Desirable Requirements:
- A degree in Ecology or similar
- Membership of CIEEM or working towards it
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience of report writing
- Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation
