Neo Environmental is a multidisciplinary consultancy that provides market leading, cost-effective planning, environmental and technical solutions to clients working in the energy, residential, retail, utilities, mixed-use, aggregates and infrastructure sectors across the UK and Ireland. We work closely with our clients throughout the duration of projects to ensure that we have a thorough understanding of their requirements and to achieve optimum designs. Our team consists of experienced and accredited planners, engineers and multi-disciplinary environmental consultants, ensuring we provide a full suite of in-house collaborative services for projects. This is a varied and hands-on role that plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation and wider Group functions, you will ensure the efficient running of office administration, facilities, health and safety, HR processes and business support activities. You will act as a central point of coordination for staff onboarding and training, compliance and reporting requirements, office and vehicle management, procurement, and the provision of equipment and resources. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, supporting business compliance and continuous improvement initiatives, liaising with customers and suppliers where required, and providing general administrative support to teams across the business. Flexibility and a proactive approach are essential, as you'll be involved in a wide range of activities that help keep the organisation running smoothly and effectively.

Key Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Quick to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies, with the ability to become competent in business applications and processes rapidly.
  • Previous exposure to finance administration, sales ledger, or credit control processes would be advantageous, although full training will be provided and prior experience is not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • People-focused, with the ability to build positive relationships across the business.
  • Confident communicator with strong customer relationship skills.
  • Highly organised, diligent, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
