About the role: Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual passionate about demand planning, purchasing, and supply chain management? We are looking for a Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic team in our Singapore Headquarter and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory and shipping processes across Australia, New Zealand, and the Netherlands. If you have no experience but have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn, you already tick the main boxes and we would like to meet you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer orders, contracts, and shipping documents to ensure accurate delivery of goods to their destinations on time.
- Communicate inventory issues or price change requests to the procurement manager in a timely manner.
- Report any anomalies, such as supplier issues, vessel booking delays, or unexpected stock movement.
- Coordinate with suppliers and shipping agents to ensure smooth shipments and timely issue resolution.
- Monitor and replenish inventory levels for regional warehouses (Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, and assigned markets).
- Analyse weekly inventory reports and take proactive steps to address short stock or overstock situations.
- Create and analyse procurement data reports as required by the procurement manager when needed.
About You:
- Strong English proficiency in both writing and speaking, enabling clear communication with global stakeholders.
- Familiar with incoterms.
- Strong computer skills will be a plus.
- Ability to multitask, highly organised and able to meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
