We are currently looking for an organised, supportive and ambitious Regional Director of Finance Europe to be part of our Ennismore team. Based in London and reporting to our Vice President Finance, North & Eastern Europe, you will be responsible for supporting the hotels across Europe.
What you’ll do…
- A large part of the role will be responsible for the support of operating hotels across all Ennismore brands in Europe. This will involve multiple travel for on-property reviews, ensuring all finance policies and procedures are in place, reviewing key controls and balance sheet critiques.
- Taking responsibility for month end Director of Finance checklist & following up action points as appropriate.
- Analysing month end results and assisting hotels to implement action plans.
- Maintaining strong, positive owner relations and deputising for the VP at Owners reviews if required.
- Actively engaging with forecasts and budget preparation for multiple hotels.
- The role also involves coverage of hotels if required, providing operational financial support until the local teams are in place.
- Leading, or being involved in, other Finance related projects that we haven’t even thought of yet, as we’re not planning on standing still.
What we’re looking for…
- You’ve definitely already been a Director of Finance of at least two hotels in your career – ideally in a luxury or lifestyle environment with a complexity to the operation.
- You’re a truly experienced hotel professional who understands all the roles of a hospitality finance team.
- Travelling to different hotels is an important and frequent part of the role, so you’ve got to love that!
- You’ll be able to deal with pressure as interacting with multiple hotels is fun but stressful.
- You’ll be tech savvy as developing our systems are just part of who we are.
- An out-of-the-box thinker, who makes brave choices and inspires others to do the same.
- You’re looking for a place where you can be you: no clones in suits for us.
- You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get things done.
- You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once.
- You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way.
What’s in it for you…
- 25 days holiday (and bank holidays), pension and life insurance.
- Excellent discounts across the Ennismore family for you and your nearest and dearest (even if you decide to leave us!).
- A health cash plan to claim money back and get access to lots of ways to support your physical & mental wellbeing.
- It’s Ok not to be OK; Take care of your physical & mental wellbeing through a support help line, gym discounts, virtual GP surgeries and more.
- Treat yourself with lots of retail & hospitality perks through our partners.
- Lots of opportunity to progress and switch it up as part of a global family of brands.
- Training to get you settled into your role, learning academies to broaden your skillset and development that helps you think, make and thrive at work.
- Extra time off to volunteer with one of our partner charities.
- Enhanced family leave for when you’re expanding your family.
- An annual diversity and inclusion calendar of events creating opportunities for you to learn, celebrate and make a positive impact.
