An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the CEO of a highly successful international business. With offices across Portugal, the Philippines, Australia, Dubai and the US, this is a dynamic, fast-growing organisation with a genuinely global footprint. The head office is based in Stevenage, where a close-knit team of seven people work collaboratively at the heart of the business.

This is a newly created position supporting the CEO, a highly creative, entrepreneurial and personable business leader. Commercially astute and full of ideas, he openly admits that organisation is not his greatest strength and is now looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to become his trusted right hand. Previously supported remotely, he has recognised the need for an experienced UK-based EA who can bring structure, organisation and accountability to his increasingly busy schedule. This is far more than diary management. The successful candidate will act as a genuine business partner and co-pilot, helping to keep priorities on track, facilitating communication across the leadership team and ensuring actions are followed through.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complex diary, travel and meeting management across multiple time zones
  • Acting as gatekeeper and liaison for the CEO's direct reports
  • Extracting, consolidating and communicating information the wider business needs from the CEO
  • Managing actions, deadlines and key projects to ensure momentum is maintained
  • Providing constructive challenge and helping the CEO think through decisions from all angles
  • Ensuring priorities remain focused and preventing distractions from key business objectives
  • Coordinating international travel and logistics
  • Supporting communication between global offices and stakeholders

About You

You will be a confident, highly proactive Executive Assistant who enjoys working closely with entrepreneurial leaders and isn't afraid to challenge upwards when needed. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience supporting a Founder, CEO or entrepreneurial business leader
  • The confidence to influence, challenge and hold senior stakeholders accountable
  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience within a product-based, manufacturing, retail or consumer goods business would be highly advantageous
  • A naturally positive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach

What's on Offer?

This is a rare opportunity to become the trusted right hand to an ambitious CEO within a successful and growing international business. You'll have real influence, significant exposure across the organisation and the chance to make a visible impact on both the CEO's effectiveness and the company's continued growth. If you are an experienced EA who enjoys bringing order to chaos and acting as a genuine strategic partner, we'd love to hear from you.
