We are delighted to be partnering with an innovative and fast-paced venture capital firm based in the West End to recruit an exceptional PA for their Founder/Partner. This is an incredible opportunity for a proactive, highly organised, and strategic-thinking PA to work at the highest level of a firm that backs cutting-edge, early-stage companies, many of which are pioneering world-changing technologies. The Founder is a highly influential figure who not only leads this forward-thinking venture capital firm, but also Chairs a well-established family business, along with several other organisations, therefore requiring a PA who prides themselves on being a natural problem-solver, adaptable, and always two steps ahead to keep everything running seamlessly. This PA role will primarily focus on business support, with some additional ad hoc support in a private capacity. Key PA Responsibilities:
- Executive Support: Managing the Founder’s busy diary, inbox, and meeting schedule, ensuring time is used effectively.
- Travel Coordination: Planning and overseeing complex international and domestic travel arrangements.
- Communication Management: Acting as the first point of contact for key stakeholders, screening calls and emails, and responding on behalf of the Founder.
- Event Planning: Organising high-profile business functions, dinners, and networking events.
- Research & Reporting: Compiling data and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Administrative Oversight: Handling expenses, invoices, and banking tasks with precision.
- Meeting Coordination: Attending meetings, taking minutes, and ensuring all follow-ups are actioned.
- Confidentiality & Discretion: Managing sensitive business and personal information with the utmost professionalism.
PA Requirements:
- Proven PA experience at C-suite or senior executive level.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and anticipate needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with impeccable attention to detail.
- A discreet and professional approach to handling confidential information.
- High energy, adaptability, and problem-solving ability in a fast-moving environment.
- A proactive, forward-thinking mindset – always looking to improve and optimise processes.
- An interest in venture capital, tech, or entrepreneurship would be advantageous.
Our client is based in lovely offices in the West End, core hours are 9/9.30am – 5.30pm. This role is primarily office-based, but with some flexibility to work from home on occasion when the Founder and business needs allow.
Benefits include 25 days holiday + bank holidays (additional days for length of service), private medical care, pension contribution, cycle to work scheme and more!
