The predicted salary is between 15 - 15 £ per hour.

Rate of Pay: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour dependant on age and experience

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week over 5 days

About the Hotel: ORIDA Hotel Newbury is located off the M4 just over 10 minutes from central Newbury. With 113 bedrooms, a quality restaurant, lounge, bar, Starbucks coffee hub, health club, gym and conference and events rooms, the hotel is perfect for the comfort of our guests whatever the occasion.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the preparation and presentation of all menu dishes on the hotel menu as appropriate with location and guest mix, prior, during and after service as appropriate or requested by your supervisor
  • Assist in the preparation of buffet food
  • Take responsibility for any food related issues whilst on shift
  • Attend and participate in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
  • Prepare in advance food, material and equipment needed for the service
  • Clean and re-set working area
  • In the absence of the Head Chef and Sous Chef, conduct shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
  • Assist in ordering
