Casual Position (with the potential to go permanent part time after an initial period)

Rate of Pay: £13.30 - £13.50 per hour depending on experience

Days and Hours of Work: Every Saturday and Sunday 04.30 - 12.30 with the potential for overtime to cover sickness and holidays

Orida Hotel Maidstone is located off the M20, less than 10 minutes from central Maidstone.

Overview of the Job Role:

You will be cooking and preparing breakfast items for up to 300 guests each day in peak season (this number will vary depending on the business in the hotel), for our breakfast buffet. You will mainly be cooking on your own.

Duties will include:

  • Taking the responsibility for the preparing, cooking and presentation of food for the hotels buffet style breakfast at the weekend
  • Ensuring the hygiene and cleanliness standards of the kitchen are always maintained at all times
  • Follow all Health and Safety Requirements
  • Accepting, signing off and checking in any early morning deliveries

The ideal candidate must be confident, organised and be motivated to deliver an exceptional standard of breakfast consistently. Experience and a chef qualification is essential.
