Orgill Primary School is seeking a motivated Business Administration Apprentice to join our busy school office team. Gain valuable workplace experience while working towards a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification, providing administrative support to staff, pupils and visitors.

What You'll Do
- Provide general administrative support within the school office.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to enquiries professionally.
- Welcome visitors and maintain a friendly reception service.
- Maintain accurate paper and electronic filing systems.
- Assist with data entry and school management systems.
- Produce letters, reports and other documents using Microsoft Office.
- Support the organisation of meetings and school events.
- Handle confidential information in accordance with GDPR requirements.
- Work alongside experienced administrators to develop office and organisational skills.
- Complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship, including remote learning, reviews and assessments.
- Participate in off-the-job training activities such as:
- Shadowing senior administrators.
- Attending CPD sessions on safeguarding, GDPR and school systems.
- Completing online learning modules.
- Supporting improvement projects within the school.
- Researching best practice in school administration.
- Reviewing and updating administrative procedures.
- Reflecting on learning through regular workplace reviews.
Training Outcome
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities for a permanent administrative position within the school or progression into more senior administration roles. The qualification also provides a strong foundation for further study or management-level apprenticeships.
