The Position
Organon is recruiting for a Senior Specialist, who will play a key role in execution of our global privacy program. The Senior Specialist will support the Chief Privacy Officer (based in the US) and will be a member of the Global Privacy Office.
This professional will serve as a project coordinator for privacy initiatives, manage key workflows, and support the Global Privacy Office in driving consistency, accountability and visibility across privacy compliance activities. This individual will ensure timely execution of projects and align across teams, develop and implement effective communications to enable stakeholder engagement. The Senior Specialist will assist in the development and implementation of privacy processes, procedures and documentation.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and track privacy program initiatives, ensuring delivery again timelines, milestone and objectives.
Lead the development and roll out of internal communications and awareness campaigns.
Support the development and roll out of training materials.
Create and maintain privacy dashboard, report and metrics to demonstrate program effectiveness.
Support the management of privacy-related templates and company-wide agreements, ensuring the repository of templates and supporting documentation (e.g., checklist and decision trees) is kept updated. Communicate any changes to relevant departments.
Coordinate privacy self-assessments and audits, tracking remediation actions and ensuring documentation are in place.
Maintain privacy program documentation, policies and standards to ensure clarity, consistency and compliance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams including Legal, Procurement, Compliance, Information Security and Business Units to operationalize privacy controls.
Participate in privacy-related meetings, including providing regular updates on key privacy issues and initiatives.
Execute upon recommendations and guidance with respect to the Global Privacy Program evolution and improvements.
Assist with the tracking of national, local, and industry-specific data privacy laws, principles, standards and best practices.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
At least five years of relevant experience in program management or related field..
Experience managing policies and resource materials internally and externally.
Experience using technology platforms to manage processes and programs.
Experience managing and organizing tasks with varying deadlines. Strong interpersonal and strong project management skills.
Experience drafting communications and implementing awareness campaigns.
Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner with various audiences.
Experience using PowerPoint and other related tools.
Detail oriented with ability to coordinate across multiple teams/countries/time zones.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, and collaboration skills.
Demonstrated ethical mindset and integrity and ability to exercise sound judgment.
Proven experience in project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results.
Strong skills in documenting business processes, creating process maps, and writing concise content.
