Organon is hiring a Project Engineer to join our world‑class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. In this pivotal role, you’ll support the delivery of a new state‑of‑the‑art granulation suite—driving the project from early concept through commissioning and validation. This hands‑on opportunity is ideal for a motivated engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced, regulated environment and enjoys collaborating to bring complex pharmaceutical projects to life.
Role Responsibilities
- Act as a key member of the project team delivering a new granulation suite.
- Contribute to business case development, vendor selection, and project design.
- Define project scope and collaborate with engineering partners on detailed design.
- Deliver accurate cost estimates and manage budgets for assigned work packages.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and engineering standards.
- Support construction, equipment installation, and commissioning activities.
- Lead change control processes and documentation.
- Work autonomously while contributing to a high‑performing, cross‑functional team.
Qualifications
- Degree‑level qualification in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven track record in delivering projects within regulated industries (e.g., Pharma, FMCG).

- Experience with GMP compliance and validation processes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and contractor supervision abilities.
