At Organon we have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner to join our team in Cramlington, UK. This role offers flexibility, with the option to work up to two days per week from home.
Role Responsibilities:- Manage the end-to-end flow of products through the supply chain, including production planning, inventory management, event management and component procurement.
- Develop, maintain and coordinate detailed manufacturing and packaging schedules to support customer service, inventory and business objectives.
- Monitor product flow and inventory levels for APIs, raw materials, excipients and packaging components, ensuring continuity of supply across the Organon network.
- Collaborate with Global Planning Hub planners, procurement teams, suppliers and customers to ensure timely material availability, effective inventory management and successful implementation of supply changes.
- Maintain accurate planning and master data parameters within SAP and other relevant systems.
- Manage packaging component and excipient ordering, artwork change implementation, and the disposition of obsolete, expired or rejected materials.
- Drive continuous improvement by providing planning insights, performance data and support for renewal activities, budgeting, new product introductions and capital planning.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, quality and training requirements, while developing and sustaining SOPs, work instructions and visual management practices.
- Degree qualified (BS/BA) or equivalent experience, with proven experience in a manufacturing, supply chain or production planning environment.
- Demonstrated experience in supply chain and production planning, with proficiency in MRP/ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make sound, data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, suppliers and customers across multiple locations.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgement and make effective decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships, motivate others and work effectively across functions.
- Demonstrates integrity, resilience, adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset.
