Job DescriptionPackaging Operations oversees the delivery of packaging volumes on site, offering insight into the coordination of an operational function. Technical Operations collaborates with teams across, and beyond the site, to support the blister packaging process. The team provides technical expertise to maintain, improve, and optimise production processes.You’ll contribute to validation strategies, technical transfer of materials, product compliance, and process troubleshooting. As part of a multidisciplinary site, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, and Quality.Organon is recruiting for a STEM student to join us by the beginning of August 2026 for 12 months for a student placement to join our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland.**Role Responsibilities:*** Support the packaging of solid oral dose products.* Drive process improvements and assist with validations.* Conduct product and cleaning reviews.* Support equipment selection, installation, and testing.* Investigate atypical results and recommend corrective actions.* Ensure compliance with GMP and company procedures.* Assess impact of supplier changes.* Assist with technical evaluation and project support for new product introductions.**Skills & Experience:*** You will be looking to complete a 12-month placement in your third or penultimate year of study, returning to your course at the end of the placement.* Studying a STEM degree or equivalent qualification.* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.* Analytical, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.* Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.* High integrity and accountability.* Organised with effective project management skills.* Quick to build working relationships and adapt.* Creative problem-solver with a can-do attitude.* Eager to learn and open to feedback.**Application Process Timeline Overview:****Stage 1** – Submission of CV and Cover Letter (by 31st October 2025) Candidates will be required to submit their CV and cover letter.**Stage 2** – Initial Informal Discussion (between 3rd November 17th November 2025)Candidates will be selected and invited to take part in an initial informal discussion about the role, as well as an opportunity for you to find out about the company.**Stage 3** – Assessment Centre + Final Interview (Week commencing 24th November 2025)Candidates successful at stage 2 will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre, located on site at Cramlington.
