Job DescriptionThe position available is within the Packaging Integrated Process Team (IPT) Engineering Team at Organon.Organon is recruiting for an Engineering student to join us by the beginning of August 2026 for 12 months for a student placement to join our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland.**Key Responsibilities:**• Provide day-to-day business support and assist with engineering and packaging projects.• Develop technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes.• Contribute to improvement initiatives, problem-solving, and investigations into safety incidents or customer complaints.• Compliance with our Company’s Global Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in the performance of day-to-day activities and all applicable job functions.• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects focused on Safety, Quality, Supply, or Cost.• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and SOPs, and accurately record and apply training received.**Education & Skills:**• Currently studying an Engineering related degree.• You will be looking to complete a 12-month placement in your third or penultimate year of study, returning to your course at the end of the placement.• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong written and verbal communication skills.• A collaborative team player with excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.**Application Process Timeline Overview:****Stage 1 –** Submission of CV and Cover Letter (by 31st October 2025) Candidates will be required to submit their CV and cover letter.**Stage 2 –** Initial Informal Discussion (between 3rd November 17th November 2025) Candidates will be selected and invited to take part in an initial informal discussion about the role, as well as an opportunity for you to find out about the company.**Stage 3** – Assessment Centre + Final Interview (Week commencing 24th November 2025) Candidates successful at stage 2 will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre, located on site at Cramlington.
