Job DescriptionThe position available is within the Business Technology unit at Organon. The position is based in Cramlington, Northumberland at the Organon Manufacturing site. The Cramlington site has been a key manufacturing facility since 1975.Organon is recruiting for an IT student to join us by the beginning of August 2026 for 12 months for a student placement to join our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland.**Role Responsibilities:*** Support implementation and development of IT systems across the business.* Contribute to projects in digital innovation, manufacturing automation, lab systems, infrastructure and networks.* Lead individual projects with guidance from the team.* Analyse and visualise production-critical data to support decision-making.* Maintain and improve existing systems through change management and stakeholder collaboration.* Work in an Agile environment to deliver business value.* Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory IT standards, including GMP.* Apply Organon’s System Development Life Cycle and produce supporting documentation.* Assist with system integration and deployment of new technologies.* Troubleshoot issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.**Education & Skills:*** Studying a degree in IT or related field, entering 3rd or penultimate year, and returning to studies post-placement.* Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills* Detail-oriented, organised and able to meet deadlines.**Application Process Timeline Overview:** **Stage 1 – Submission of CV and Cover Letter (by 31st October 2025)**Candidates will be required to submit their CV and cover letter.**Stage 2 – Initial Informal Discussion (Between 3rd November – 17th November 2025)**Candidates will be selected and invited to take part in an initial informal discussion about the role, as well as an opportunity for you to find out about the company.**Stage 3 – Assessment Centre + Final Interview (Week commencing 24th November 2025)**Candidates successful at stage 2 will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre, located on site at Cramlington.
