Organon is hiring for a Continuous Improvement Operator to join us at our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. In this role you will be responsible for facilitation and governance of continuous improvement and lean activities within the Packaging team., Data Collection management and analysis to help understand the Line performance.
Responsibilities
- Facilitation and governance of continuous improvement and lean activities within the Packaging team.
- Data Collection management and analysis to help understand the Line performance.
- Ensure downtime escalation process adherence, alongside the coordination of actions to improve Line performance.
- Understanding of Packaging Line Operational Availability/performance metrics.
- Facilitation of deviations and complaint Investigations to ensure effective root cause analysis.
- Support the Training/Development of Others in continuous improvement principles including basic problem solving (5 whys, etc).
- Support the Lean Principles to help sustain a continuous improvement culture within the Packaging department.
Qualifications
- Understanding of packaging line technology.
- GCSE level in English and Mathematics.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and documentation skills.
- Experience in problem solving techniques (8 Steps of Problem Solving Training to be provided on the job).
- Experience of communicating effectively across multiple job functions and departments.
