Organon is hiring a HR Specialist to join our HR Employee Services team. In this role you will be responsible for providing support to employees on a wide range of HR-related topics, collaborating with other HR teams, and contributing to a positive employee experience through consistent and effective service delivery. This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with an expectation to work from our manufacturing site in Cramlington.
Role Responsibilities:- Regional support: Collaboration with HR Stakeholders: Work closely with other HR teams such as HR Business Partners, COEs, and external vendors to ensure alignment and consistency in employee services.
- Participate and coordinate global/regional/local projects for Country Support and HRSD teams in close cooperation with HR community.
- Participate actively in any need for change discussion, contributing as SME of mainly internal challenges.
- Handle escalations from HR Support Center re local issues.
- Signal changes in global HR policies/procedures and local law and respond to the local impact on processes.
- Support HRBP regarding Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in HR service delivery, propose solutions, and support the implementation of process enhancements and automation initiatives.
- HR Systems & Data Integrity: Maintain accurate records of employee interactions and resolutions in the HR service platform ensuring compliance, and alignment with global HR policies.
- Employee Inquiries & Case Management: Support internal employees creating tickets on HR policies, procedures, and general inquiries through the HR case management system – and solve them in accordance with internal standards and service levels.
- Employee Lifecycle Support: Process employee lifecycle changes such as onboarding, job changes, and terminations in line with established procedures and service levels.
- Assist in reviewing, maintaining, and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in HR operations, HR shared services, or HR generalist.
- Experience working in a multinational environment.
- Experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and process optimization mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
- Experience in continuous improvement with proven results.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
