About The Company
Our client is a growing electrical contractor delivering a wide range of works across domestic, commercial, and industrial environments. With an increasing workload across the South Coast, they are looking to bring in experienced electricians to support ongoing projects and reactive works. They operate across multiple disciplines including electrical installation, maintenance, and specialist systems such as solar PV, EV charging, fire alarms, and security systems, offering engineers a varied and consistent pipeline of work.
The Role
This is a subcontract position for qualified electricians to support a busy and expanding workload. You will be working across a mix of reactive, maintenance, and installation projects, covering sites across the South Coast. Work is available up to 5 days per week on an ongoing basis, with flexibility for individuals or established teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and fault finding
- Attending reactive call-outs and diagnosing faults efficiently
- Completing EICRs and associated remedial works
- Working on additional systems such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, and security (where applicable)
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with current regulations and safety standards
- Using an app-based system to log works, upload photos, and complete timesheets
- Maintaining a professional and client‑facing approach on all sites
Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (essential)
- Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent preferred)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own tools and transport
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving ability
- Comfortable using mobile/tablet systems for reporting
Desirable Experience
- Fire alarm systems (BS 5839)
- Security systems, CCTV, and access control
- EV charging installations
- Solar PV and battery storage
