We\’re hiring on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking renewables business, now expanding its service division. They\’re looking for an experienced Solar PV Technician / Electrician with a strong background in solar, battery storage, and EV systems.

This is a long-term opportunity offering ongoing training, development, and stability in a growing sector.

Role Overview

  • Installation, maintenance, and servicing of solar PV, battery storage, and EV charge points
  • Mix of domestic and commercial systems
  • System commissioning and fault-finding
  • Liaising with manufacturers for advanced tech support
  • Use of drone equipment for inspections
  • Working with Tradify job management software
  • Registering and monitoring systems via manufacturer portals

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing cert
  • NICEIC Qualified Supervisor desirable
  • EV Charging, Battery Storage & Solar PV qualifications (29212923 series) preferred
  • CSCS/ECS Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
  • Able to work independently and within a small technical team
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
